Getting Sick is Human and Part of Life
I got sick recently - sore throat, fever, headache, aching bones, and a cough - to where it dawned on me how people responded to me differently. These responses are new, since most of the world lost its mind and starting worshiping fear.
There have always been germaphobes and people who are OCD about getting sick. Since the C to the V though, it is a new level, with people being more extreme and putting back on those pesky muzzles to stifle their ability to breathe, get sunshine, and speak freely. All things that help you boost your immune system and fight disease.
There is nothing evil, inhuman, or dirty at all about being sick or getting sick. I cannot say or stress this enough. Illness is our body’s way of communicating with us to let us know something is wrong or toxic inside of us. Dis-ease means lack of ease. Illness if a part of the cycles of life and death for all life on planet earth.
When you have a fever your body increases white blood cell count and raises your temperature to clean house and get you better. Our bodies are wonderful, and our immune systems are designed to work. Do you think God and Nature had it wrong making us born with immune systems?
My favorite teacher in Herbalist School used to say: “You are sick… wonderful! You are vomiting green bile… wonderful! You broke your leg… wonderful!” because he understood that his focus as a natural healer was to discover the root cause, and then assist the body to heal itself like it is supposed to do when we get out of the way.
I got sick after I ate too much sugar, and also let some dudes get in my head that were trying to talk down to me. As a kid I couldn’t get away from bully type people because they often were my family, so I ate sugar and stuffed it. Now I can walk away in most cases when someone starts into this low level crap, yet the pattern of eating sugar is still wired into me.
Don’t dim your light for other people - walk away from those people who try to bring you down. This cut people down to their level crap is their problem. Some people are jealous and roll like that. I don’t understand it. I get off on elevating my brothers and sisters. I want to celebrate them winning and growing in dignity, respect, love, light, and all that is good in this world.
